Abertillery Park - Ebbw Fach river walk
May 14th 2008

The Wednesday Walkers visited the Abertillery Park-Ebbw Fach river route for the first time this year and this is a pictorial record of what was a fine, life-affirming walk in the stunning countryside we have on our doorstep.

If you'd like details of the Wednesday walks - everyone is welcome to come along, to enjoy the countryside and the company - contact Chloe (Communities First) on 01495 354723.

Almost hard to believe there's a town down there looking south down the valley

Bluebells carpet the lower slopes of the Arael

Gorse and broom in full bloom along the river way

At last, a well-earned rest and a chat for some of the walkers
