Direct services from Cardiff and Newport

X16 Cardiff - Newbridge - Abertillery - Brynmawr

Run by Stagecoach (Red and White) and Glyn Williams Travel, which also run the E3/E4 service between Brynmawr, Abertillery and Ebbw Vale.

More local services serving the town and surrounding villages are run by Glyn Williams Travel and long-established local company, Henley's Bus Services.

Rail Services

The Ebbw Rail link is due to open in 2008 linking Ebbw Vale with Cardiff. Initially, Abertillery will be served by Llanhilleth station park and ride with a proposed shuttle bus to the town centre although an extension from Aberbeeg and a new station in Abertillery is purportedly planned.
