Birthday Greetings
This
message came in just too late for inclusion last week, so Sian, Gail and
all the family would like to wish a belated Happy 75th
Birthday to Mrs. Margaret Olding of Six Bells whose birthday 24th
September.
Cawl,
Cakes and Quiz
The Men's Fellowship of Blaenau Gwent Baptist Church are holding a Cawl,
Cakes and Table Quiz night on Friday 10th October, commencing at
7pm. All proceeds from the evening will go to: The Reverend
Thomas Moses in aid of his Orphanage Project, of the Bethesda Ministries
in
India.
The money will provide essential books and other school
necessities for those children that attend the Orphanage.
Everyone is welcome, and if you are not particularly good at
quizzes, it really doesn't matter. I can recommend the Cawl and Cakes.
Our very own Pastor Bob will also be doing a ten minute slot,
showing some photographs of the development of the Orphanage, and I'm
sure you will appreciate the work that's been put into this project with
limited funding.
Tickets for the event are £5.00 each, and you can obtain these
from Mike Williams: Tel: 01495 217022 or Pastor Bob: 01495 321359.
We look forward to seeing you, for what I'm sure will be an
enjoyable and worthwhile evening.
