USEFUL LINKS

This little known, but very important piece of public art in Abertillery was the work of Hans Feibusch, the renowned German painter and sculptor.
When the Nazis came to power in Germany in 1933, the work of Hans Feibusch was banned. He escaped to Britain, becoming a British citizen in 1938.
Feibusch was responsible for the famous civic murals in Newport and when the original institute in Abertillery burned down, he created the mural depicting the history of the institute.
